The most unhealthy candles are ones made of paraffin wax. That kind of wax is petroleum-based… let’s keep that in the gas tank. These candles burn quickly, poorly, and release potentially damaging toxins into the air you and your family breathe. Shockingly, some of the most well-known candle brands use this formula (and one of them rhymes with spanky…). The carcinogens these candles release have been linked to asthma, cancer, and other health problems.

The glass jars our candles come in are made of recycled glass, and we encourage you to keep them around long after you finish burning your candles. These jars can be used for storage, as vases, to hold writing instruments on a desk, or you can get your own natural wax to try your hand at pouring a homemade candle! Our travel tins make for a great storage solution for knick-knacks and small personal items.
